What do you think about paying to vend on shakedown??? For the past three years wakarusa has been a relaxed venue the type of place where security asks for you to not advertise sales and looks away. Last year someone died probably dope...sorry but things are now different. Shakedown has been pushed far away from the venue and instead of paying to vend in the venue as with previous years...you pay three hundred to set your ezup on shakedown and it is inforced by an on the spot three hundred dollar ticket....oh and dont forget about cops combing campsites making arrests. Definately the begining of the end for a previously preferred festival. Hopefully for them they will continue to book acts that will draw the masses, however if a new festival pops up on the same dates... waka away.
